KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 30 (Bernama) - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's official visit to Singapore today saw three agreements signed between Putrajaya and Singapore covering aspects of the digital economy, green economy and cyber security.
Two frameworks involving cooperation in the digital economy and the green economy were signed by the Minister of International Trade and Industry Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz and his counterpart Gan Kim Yong on behalf of Singapore.
The Prime Minister today led the Malaysian delegation to Singapore in a meeting with his counterpart Lee Hsien Loong.
It was Anwar's first official visit to Singapore after assuming the position of the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
He said the meeting provided an opportunity to explore forms of cooperation to further improve Malaysia-Singapore bilateral relations in addition to establishing constructive cooperation and creating a win-win situation for the benefit of the people and businesses of both countries.
